After many years of professional mathematics, I am since 2006 fulltime involved in graphics, design, and paperart. With paperart, I am mainly interested in the design of 3-D paper sculptures and the combination with my graphical designs. The folding techniques used, are more widely known as geometric paper folding and crumpling. My graphical work concerns mainly portraits and multiple linocut printings. In my design work, I construct tiles that can be rotated and reversed so that interesting combinations arise. With these designs, I also cover imaginary 3D objects. Some of the designs are implemented on ceramic plates or on textile.
